Rice casserole with minced meat and cheese

If you love oven-baked foods, this is another great dish.

It combines delicious ground beef to create a delicious flavor.

It also has dark Spanish rice to add carbs and extra flavor. It also has a unique cheesy flavor that holds the entire recipe together.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef.
  • 2 onions, diced.
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder.
  • 1 small can tomato sauce.
  • 1 cup cooked rice.
  • 1 cup chicken broth.
  • 1 cup sour cream.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese.
  • Salt, pepper, and oregano.
  • 1 cup frozen peas.

How to make Ground Beef and Cheese Rice:

Get a skillet sprayed with cooking spray, then turn the heat to high, then add the onions and let them cook for a few minutes.

Add the garlic and ground beef until browned.

When it’s done, lower the heat to medium and season with pepper, salt and some thyme.

Put in the peas, rice, tomato sauce, a cup of cheese, and broth, and let it simmer for about three minutes, making sure to mix everything up completely so it’s perfectly combined.

Take the mixture and put it in a casserole dish and then put it in the oven.

Bake it in a 250 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until you notice that the mixture is getting hot, and it’s starting to bubble as well.

From there, remove that, then take the sour cream and the cheese, put that in a bowl together, and whisk that together until it’s completely combined and has an even texture.

Take that and pour it over the baking dish, and bake all of that together for at least another 15 minutes or so, until the cheese is melted and starting to bubble.

Pull it out, put it on a serving plate and enjoy!
