- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup dry white wine (you can also use chicken broth)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
For garnish:
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1.5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 430 degrees F.
2 Combine wine with half of melted butter in a casserole dish and bake for 10 minutes until tender.
3 Toss shrimp with remaining butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper, then place in casserole dish.
4 To make filling, combine Japanese bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt and olive oil in another bowl. Sprinkle evenly over shrimp and sauce.
5 Bake for 12 minutes. For extra browning, bake on high for 1-2 minutes after that.
