Texas Sauce
Ingredients
- 500ml tomato sauce
- ½ cup black molasses
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
Instructions
Add tomato sauce, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar to a medium saucepan.
Stir to combine.
Stir in remaining seasonings.
Heat sauce over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
Continue to simmer for another 10-15 minutes, stirring every 2 seconds. If sauce starts to bubble or stick to the bottom, reduce heat.
Once cooked, remove from heat and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then carefully pour into a sealable container
Store in fridge. Sauce will keep for 2-3 weeks.
