How to dry grapes

My daughters grapes, choose the firm ones, not the soft ones

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • A quarter teaspoon of baking soda
  • A quarter teaspoon of lemon salt
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • A large spoon of oil, choose a good type of oil, such as sunflower or corn oil, or you can buy Paravel oil, which is sold in pharmacies

Method:

I will prepare. A tray and spread kitchen towels or a clean piece of cloth on it. We wash the grapes well, then put water in a pot until it reaches the middle and leave it to boil.

We put in it the carbonate, lemon salt, lemon juice and oil and stir it. Then we put the grapes in the water for one minute only.

We set the time, then we take it out on a strainer to drain, then I spread it on the tray with kitchen towels on it, but I break it first to exclude any fruit that is soft or damaged.

After I spread it, I cover it with a piece of cloth or a screen or even a clean scarf and put it in the sun for three days.

It will be dry and dried, but it is necessary.
We put the tray in at the end of the day after the sun has gone down to avoid the dew.

Note: If you make a quantity, we put in a portion of the grapes, not all at once.
