Hershey’s Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Filling and Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

If you love chocolate and baking, you’ll understand the importance of having that perfect recipe for a delicious, moist chocolate cake.

I have tried many recipes over the years, and more often than not I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Baking was a difficult task for me and it took time and patience to understand the different elements that affect the texture and flavor of the products.

There were times when the cake was dry or not baked evenly. But all of these issues can be corrected with continued practice.

This recipe is a three-layer cake with a luxurious cream cheese filling and a rich buttercream frosting. I tried to make this recipe in its simplest version.

This is definitely something you would bake for an occasion. The batter will be very moist unlike a regular cake batter, but don’t worry. That’s how the finished product gets very moist.

The timings I mentioned may vary depending on your oven, so it’s best to check it from time to time, and make a note the first time so you can follow the same pattern the next time you bake.

It tastes best when refrigerated overnight.
