This heavenly pineapple cheese balls recipe is always one of the most successful recipes at any gathering and every party.
We can’t let the combination of foods disgust us. This recipe wouldn’t be one of my favorites if it tasted disgusting. So be patient and give it a try.
I actually got this recipe from a very dear friend. His mother used to make it for the family on special occasions. When she passed away, he wanted to pass on one of her favorite recipes to me.
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of soft cream cheese at room temperature.
- 1 can of pineapple, drained and crushed
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ½ cup chopped green pepper
- 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 cups finely chopped pecans
- Assorted crackers

Step 1:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Gently fold the vegetables in
Step 2:
Add the seasonings
Add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
Step 3:
Place this on a sheet of plastic wrap, roll the cheese and shape into a ball.
Refrigerate overnight
Step 4:
Just before serving, roll the ball in the remaining chopped pecans
Place the ball in the center of the plate and surround with an assortment of crackers
