Grilled chicken pizza is a dish that captivates the senses with its perfect blend of delicious flavors and wonderful balance. The flaky dough that carries within it softness and lightness is the perfect base that embraces the aromatic tomato sauce, mixed with the flavor of garlic and fresh herbs. This makes me eager to prepare it.
Grilled chicken, the hero of this pizza, has a carefully seasoned smoky flavour that adds a rich and distinctive touch. Slices of red onions and peppers intertwine to give extra tenderness and texture, with a wonderful harmony between sweetness and crunch.
Ingredients:
1 kg flour
2 ½ cups water
1 tablespoon yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons powdered milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons yogurt
To prepare pizza sauce:
5 tablespoons tomato paste
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon seven spices
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry coriander
1 teaspoon grilled chicken breast, sliced - 150 grams
1/2 cup sliced green olives
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese – 1/2 cup
Preparation method:
1- In a bowl, put two cups of flour, add water, yeast and sugar and mix, then cover the mixture and leave it to ferment.
2- Add powdered milk, vegetable oil, yogurt and the remaining amount of flour and knead the ingredients until we have a cohesive dough, then cover the dough and leave it to ferment again.
3- To prepare the pizza sauce, mix in a bowl, tomato paste, water, paprika, oregano, seven spices, salt and dry coriander.
4- Spread a portion of the dough in a circular shape on a baking tray, then add an amount of sauce, chicken, olives, corn and finally cheese.
5- Put the tray in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until the pizza is cooked, then serve.
