Forget the hassle of making homemade cheese: you only need regular store-bought milk. In just 15 minutes you can prepare the mixture, and overnight it will turn into a finished product. For 5 liters of milk you will need 3 teaspoons of yeast.
This recipe makes a mild-flavored cheese without the use of spices, making it a great choice for your morning meal.
Cooking process:
Pour the milk into a saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Then pour into sterilized jars. Wait until the temperature of the milk in the jars drops to 45 degrees. This is where a food thermometer comes in handy.
Separate a little milk into a separate bowl, add the yeast and mix well. Then return this mixture to the milk cartons.
Cover each jar with a paper towel and close the lid tightly. Leave to ferment overnight.
In the morning, your homemade cheese will be ready. To give it a special taste, you can add your favorite spices to the milk during the boiling stage.
