Homemade Payday Candy Bars

When it comes to candy bars, everyone has their favorites that they’ll keep eating forever. Not that we don’t try them from time to time, but once you find your favorites, you’ll be tempted to eat them, right?

Plus, if you’re already obsessed with the flavors and ingredients of these favorites, it only makes sense that you’d want to replicate that combination in other dishes!

With all that in mind, we decided to make our own homemade candy bars for Payday so we could grab a treat whenever we feel like eating peanuts and peanut butter… and we’re so glad we did!

Not only do these bars taste like the real thing, they’re also super easy to make. All you need are six ingredients, plus a stovetop or microwave.

You simply mix the butter and peanut butter chips together in a saucepan, heat until melted and smooth, then simply pour in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, and stir in the marshmallows until smooth.

Pour half of this delicious treat into a 9×13-inch baking dish, sprinkle half of the salted peanuts in the middle, then pour the remaining peanut marshmallow mixture on top, and sprinkle any remaining peanuts over the smooth topping.

Quick and easy!

This dish is ready in minutes, and before you know it, the bars are ready to slice and serve.

It’s a no-bake dish, which means you can make it any time of year without having to turn on the oven or heat up the kitchen—which is the worst time of year—meaning you can satisfy your sweet tooth in no time.
