Dough:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 onions, chopped or fresh
- 1 cup cooked Swiss chard
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon oil
Filling:
- 2 red onions
- 4 medium corn (or 2 cans)
- 150 grams light cream cheese
Dough:
Beat the eggs, onion, chard, oil, salt then add the flour to form the dough.
The chard must be pre-cooked and make sure it does not contain too much water.
If the dough is still too wet, add more flour.
Leave it to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Stretch and make circles. You can use a pastry mold if you don’t have one.
Filling:
- Fried onions with water.
- Add the pre-cooked corn.
- Add the cheese.
Mixture
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Tip to assemble, it is recommended to wait until the filling cools so that the dough does not soften!
