Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups (190 grams) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (120 grams) desiccated coconut
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix until combined.
- Pour into prepared pan; bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
- Cool for 10 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To assemble:
- Cut chilled sponge into 1-inch squares.

- 2 cups (400g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons milk

- Add cocoa and milk; mix until smooth.
